The singer was born on November 26 1987 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. At the age of six the family relocated into Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she completed her education formal in New Jersey. Following her graduation from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the school. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist"Violingirl" was her name. It was because of her talent that she went with the title of Violin Girl. The children of her neighborhood were instructed to play the violin through her. Later at the age of nineteen, she appeared on the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free.
