Dina Meyer was born and raised within Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished her junior year, she relocated from Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. There are two of her siblings: one of whom is older, named Gregory as well as a younger sibling known as Evan. When she was between the ages of 9 between the ages of 16 and 19 the first time she was exposed to the world of modeling was when she began modeling. Ron Stetson was her teacher at The Neighborhood Playhouse where she started studying Sanford Meisner's acting techniques for three years. Others who have received this instruction include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among other actors. Her role was in Beverly Hills in 90210, but had relocate from Los Angeles to take the lead role. After securing the lead role on Johnny Mnemonic where she did all of the stunts herself, she positioned her self as an actor athletic. The agency she was represented by was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to land a regular role on Friends.
